Deal of the century

West Texas A&M will celebrate its centennial in 2010. One way the school is remembering the occasion is a huge benefit to local sports fans.

For $100, WT is offering an entire family complete general admission passes to every home athletic event for the 2009-2010 school year. That means a family of four or however many in a family can attend every football game, volleyball match, men's and women's soccer match, men's and women's basketball game, baseball and softball game for $100.

Just in the fall for football, volleyball and soccer, that's 34 events. Basketball is around 17 or so, and approximately 15 home games in baseball and soccer. That's roughly 80 events for a little more than a buck a game.

Considering that one Big 12 Conference football game would cost about $100, it's a bargain for anyone with a WT athletics interest. For more information, call (806) 651-1414.
