Dylan's how old?

Happy birthday today to Bob Dylan. The musical icon from the 1960s turned -- gulp! -- 69. As Dylan himself once sang, "How does it feel?"

Probably better than the alternative.

Dylan's songwriting will stand the test of time, particularly as it related to social unrest. A number of his songs -- "Blowin' in the Wind," "The Times They Are a-Changin'," and "Like A Rolling Stone" -- related to social unrest.

I'll say this. Dylan is a much better songwriter than singer. His distinctive voice can sometimes feel like fingers on a chalkboard. But as a lyricist, he is a musical poet.

And the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is still going strong as he continues to tour across the country.
