Lost in the mail?

Did you get your invitation to Chelsea Clinton's wedding? Me neither. Could be the postal service though. So let's not lose all hope for getting an invite to the July 31 nuptials between the daughter of Bill and Hilary and investment banker Marc Mezvinsky.

But, then, again, maybe it's just not happening because already 500 have received their invitations. And to be honest, I don't run around in the same circles as them.

President Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Streisand and a former British head of state are among those who were invited.

Also on the 500-person guestlist: former British Prime Minister John Major, Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg, historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, CNN founder Ted Turner, and ex-Bill Clinton campaign aide Terry McAuliffe.

Chelsea's wedding will take place at the Astor Court mansion in Rhinebeck village, 90 miles north of New York City, the Hudson Valley News reported.

Earlier this month, news outlets reported the former first daughter had selected Astor Court a 50-acre estate once owned by wealthy scion John Jacob Astor IV -- to wed her longtime beau. Representatives from the Clintons have been mum with specifics on the hot-ticket wedding.

Oh, well, that's one less toaster I have to get as a wedding gift.
