That didn't take long

It's sort of a delicate dance that has to be done when talking with anyone at a voting precinct. There are these pesky obstacles called federal and state laws that prohibit the media from doing its job within 100 feet of the voting booths.

That became apparent at 7:28 when I tried to talk with a Spanish translator who was at Palo Duro for those who might need help.

"News media, you can talk to her, but you have to do it 100 feet away," said the precinct chairman.

Why do I think this won't be the last time I hear this today.
