A vote and a kiss

Calvin and Renee Vaughan walked out together at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday after voting at Palo Duro High School. They shared a quick kiss on the sidewalk before leaving in separate vehicles for work.

"I planned to early vote, but didn't get around to it in time," he said. "I didn't know if I'd get another chance today and this is a very important election."

Vaughan, who works for Tow Brothers, said he does his best to vote in every election.

"I got no right to complain if I don't vote," he said. "The Constitution still gives us that right, I guess, but morally, it's not right unless you make your voice heard."
