His truck got tricked

In the 18-wheel version of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Amarillo's Mike Richardson is getting his truck a new facelift. His rig will be made over on Saturday night in Country Music Television's "Trick My Truck."

Similar to what Extreme Makeover does, the Trick My Truck crew looks for selfless inspiring stories by those who use their rigs for good. They then tailor and design the truck to give it an eye-catching facelift.

Richarson is a Vietnam veteran who was awarded two Purple Hearts. After the war, Richardson got into trucking. He now works for the United States Veterans Administration delivering prosthetic limbs to veterans in need. Richardson had been concerned about his truck's effect on the environment.

In the sixth episode of "Trick My Truck's" fifth season, the crew goes green for the first time, transforming his Mack truck into quite the green machine.

The show is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
