Two for two

Putting my money where my keyboard is, I got my hair cut (insert your own joke) this afternoon at 118 Classics at 118 SW Sixth Ave. This is the second time I've been there since writing about this new African-American-owned barbershop in April.

The first time I went, on tax day, April 15, Pat Valliere did the honors. This afternoon it was Taiwan Harper. It takes a little bit longer than at most places, but the reason is they are careful and want to get it right. And they do.

I've only got a precious few of these haircuts left, and I don't want to waste in on amateurs. Other than some Miracle Grow on top, it couldn't have been better. I'll see them again in about six weeks.
